We launch from picturesque Padanaram Harbor in South Dartmouth, Massachusetts. Your booking includes easy dock access and nearby parking, so arriving by land is effortless. Whether you're coming with your crew or heading out solo, you'll find us right where the fun begins—by the water.

Who drives the boat?

Anyone 21 or older can drive the GRUB TUB, but first, you’ll complete a quick instruction session covering boat operation and safety. We’ll walk you through how to steer, use the throttle, and follow safety rules so you feel confident on the water. Remember, the driver must stay sober — no alcohol or drugs allowed while operating the boat.

How much does it cost?

Do you provide Ice and Charcoal?

Yes! We supply fresh ice for the ice bucket option and lit charcoal ready to grill for the BBQ setup. Just bring your food and drinks, and we’ll take care of the rest.

Can I Swim off of the Boat?

Absolutely! When anchored in approved areas, you’re welcome to swim and enjoy the water. Each GRUB TUB comes with a swim ladder for easy entry and exit. For everyone’s safety, please make sure the motor is turned off whenever anyone is in the water.

Where can I go with the Gub Tub?

You can cruise anywhere on the north side of the Padanaram Bridge, including the harbor and water sports area. It’s a large zone with plenty of room to explore, relax, or anchor. Just remember to follow all standard boating safety rules—stay clear of rocky areas and beaches, and always navigate responsibly.

What is the "Concert Night" rental?

Concert Night is a special evening rental event every Wednesday during the summer, timed perfectly for the Apponagansett Concert Series at Padanaram Harbor. Enjoy live music from your GRUB TUB while cruising or anchored in the bay. It’s a great way to soak up local vibes and sunsets!

Whats the Age Requirement?

All ages are welcome as passengers on the GRUB TUB, but the operator must be 21 or older and ready to show a valid ID upon request. This helps us keep everyone safe and follows local laws.

How many people can come on a Grub Tub?

Each GRUB TUB can safely accommodate up to 8 guests or a maximum weight of 1,100 lbs. Since we have two boats available, larger groups can rent both, allowing us to host up to 16 people at once.
